Tips for “Who is most likely to” questions
This sort of question can help you get to know your coworkers better (or help to test how well you already know them) - but these conversations can also reveal what you really think of someone.
It’s important to be sensitive when using these questions as part of your event. Remember that the goal is to have fun, share some laughs, and bond as a group - not to make anyone feel embarrassed or silly. Rather than selecting questions randomly, we suggest having a moderator who will choose the questions and prepare them in advance. Keep what you do know about your team in mind before selecting questions. For example, you don’t want someone to feel like you’re calling them lazy if the group says they are most likely to binge a show. Or, if someone tends to feel self conscious, you don’t want to call them out for something embarrassing.
Another consideration to be conscious of is culture: the holidays people celebrate are different based on their unique location and religion. Don’t go heavy on the “Christmas” questions if you know there are people on your team who don’t celebrate that holiday.
In summary: use common sense, and focus on the questions that will likely lead to some laughs. Spend the energy in this exercise trying to build people up and boost confidence, rather than ding self-esteem.
